About Us.....
We are a family-run smallholding in the heart of the shires, providing good quality, high welfare meat, woollen clothing and home decor. All our animals have a happy life, living as close as possible to their individual requirements and able to exhibit their natural behaviours. We have a small varied flock of sheep breeds including Shetland, Manx Loaghtan and Jacobs who provide dark, lean meat and excellant fleeces. Rearing and utilising these old and scarce breeds is very important to help conserve their genetics and retain the qualities many new commercial types of sheep lack. We aim to develop, grow and expand on a sustainable level while not compromising on welfare. Our yarn is handspun, our cloth is handwoven and our products are handmade using heritage skills passed down through the generations.
